Will the event be affected or cancelled due to the potential petrol limitations in Australia?
We look forward to the 2026 Yarrawonga Powerboat Spectacular, despite some
concerns about fuel availability.
The Victorian Speed Boat Club has pre‑purchased fuel supplies for EC Griffith
Cup and National Drivers Championship entrants. Competitors and supporters can
prepare for the event with confidence.
Are dogs allowed at the event?
Unfortunately dogs are not permitted at this years event unless they are a certified Service animal with the correct paperwork. With the loud noises and large crowds, this can create a dangerous reactionary environment for dogs. Please leave your beloved pooches at home this year.
Is this event all ages?
Yes, this is an all‑ages, family‑friendly event. Most areas are open to everyone, however the VIP and Premium ticketed zones are 18+ only.
Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, as the event is fully licensed and alcohol will be available.
What types of Concession Cards will be accepted with a Concession ticket?
Concession cards that will be accepted:
Government-Issued Pension Cards such as
- Age Pension
- Disability Support Pension
- Carer Payment
- Parenting Payment (Single)
- Widow Pension, etc.
Health Care Cards that will be accepted:
- Low Income
- Carer Allowance
- Mobility Allowance
- Youth Allowance
- Newstart Allowance
A valid concession card must be presented upon entry, or any pre-purchased concession tickets will need to be upgraded to full price.
Is there parking available?
Street parking is available all around the events surrounding area but allow an extra 10min walk. When parking please take note of any parking limit times and No Standing zones to avoid any potential parking tickets.
Is this event wheelchair accessible?
There is accessible paved footpaths all along the foreshore, but please note that a lot of the event area is held on grassy areas which may become difficult for wheelchair access.
Will bag checks be conducted at the gate?
Yes. Large bags and Eskies will be checked at the gates to avoid the possible occurrence of alcohol being brought into the event grounds.
This event is a NON-BYO event. Alcohol will be available to purchase from our 2 bar locations.
Will alcohol be available to purchase on the day?
We will have 2 bars operating and selling alcohol across the 3-day event.
Main Bar Opening hours are as follows:
Friday: 1pm - 5pm
Saturday: 11am - 7pm (Bar 2 will close at 5pm)
Sunday: 11am - 5pm
Please be aware, large bags and Eskies will be searched at the gate to avoid any alcohol being brought into the event grounds. Alcohol can be purchased at our 2 bars on site.
**Please note that ID's will be checked for anyone who looks under the age of 25 years.
Will there be food and drink available for purchase?
Absolutely! We will have many varieties of food trucks and vendors selling delicious food items and non-alcoholic drinks.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own picnic items and Eskys, but please note that NO ALCOHOL can be brought in from outside the event and past the gates. All bags and Eskys will be checked upon entry.
Are there toilet facilities available?
Yes there are several toilet blocks and extra portable toilets located all along the foreshore for public use.
What else is there to do during the event?
There will also be carnival rides and attractions, kids entertainment such as jumping castles and face painting, static displays, vendors selling merch and much more.
If the event is cancelled due to bad weather, can I get a refund?
In the unlikely event that the Yarrawonga Boat Spectacular is cancelled or rescheduled, we will make every effort to provide alternative options or reschedule the event where you can reuse your already purchased tickets. For more information please refer to the refund policy
